'The Stick Book' by Jo Schofield and Fiona Danks made its way down to Cornwall this Easter to keep a host of children entertained over the wedding weekend of our ambassadors from Bikeabout Chris Leakey to Liz Wilton.

Chris and Liz Leakey who cycled from New Zealand to UK (mainly in Source Gobi sandals with Meindl Maine Mids for the cold parts of the journey) were married at a stunning wedding by the sea in Cornwall. Bramwell International were delighted to attend and very impressed to see Chris slip back into his faithful Source Gobi Sandals after the service, in time for the dancing!
As Jo and Fiona of 'Going Wild' state "The first thing so many children do when they go outdoors is pick up a stick - and that stick can then become the starting point for so many wonderful outdoor adventures." Once a sandy beach was added into this equation, this comment could not have proved more accurate.
After an initial reference to the book for ideas, a host of children were launched into a fever of creative activity resulting in an array of masterpieces left for the tide to take away. What a success, we knew we loved the book, but now have even more reason!
