Outward Bound Generations Campaign
Leading outdoor distributor Bramwell International is pleased to announce that it has become an official member of The Patron's Company, the fundraising division of educational charity The Outward Bound Trust. By raising money from fundraising activities and donations from The Patron’s Company members,
The Outward Bound Trust helps and inspires disadvantaged young people in schools across the UK to raise their self-esteem and fulfil their potential through participation in challenging outdoor experiences that range from high ropes, abseiling and kayaking to overnight expeditions and mountaineering. As part of the partnership Bramwell International will participate in The Outward Bound Trust’s ‘Adopt a School’ scheme, which allows companies to give sustainable support to a chosen school on an on-going basis. By investing in the scheme Bramwell International will enable disadvantaged young people from their adopted school to attend Outward Bound adventure courses, giving students the opportunity to get involved in outdoor activities they may not ordinarily get the chance to experience.
Commenting on the partnership Director for Bramwell International, Nick Bramwell said: “Giving young people the chance to improve their confidence and unlock their potential, as well as develop social skills, is an extremely valuable opportunity and impacts positively not just on the individual, but on the community as a whole. We will be supporting The Outward Bound Trust and in doing so be “Working together to unlock the potential in young people through outdoor adventure.””

In the future Bramwell International will carry out a mixture of consumer and trade marketing activities surrounding the partnership to further enhance and support the work of The Outward Bound Trust.
