The 1st February saw the establishment of the Gregory European office in Basel, Switzerland.
The new Gregory European brand manager is Andrea Meerholz who has a great deal of experience in the outdoor industry and extensive knowledge of the UK market. The establishment of a European office illustrates Gregory’s commitment to the UK and Europe. At the European sales meeting in January distributors were given a preview of the new product ranges for SS12 which are targeted at the backpacking and “done in a day” categories. The day packs will fit between the Z series and the Active Trail packs that both form an integral part of the Gregory range.
There will also be increased investment in marketing to build on the industry awards of 2010 for the Z55 advert which was voted the Best Advert in the display advertising category.
Launch of the Axis Travel line range of products took place at ISPO. The range is “different and better” due to the wide handle which gives increased stability, roll cage protection to the luggage and a flat packing area. For further information contact your sales representative.
