Source Sandals cycling through the Gobi Desert
Liz Wilton and Chris Leaky started cycling back to England from New Zealand a year and a half ago.
Their journey has taken through some remarkable places, meeting incredible people and having a fabulous adventure. Chris has been wearing his Source sandals for the majority of the journey and both the sandals and their green dot has persevered despite some very hard wearing.
Chris and Liz have been cycling in gruelling conditions through the Gobi Desert in Mongolia over the last few weeks. Liz commented about the desert journey "It’s one thing to cycle through the desert, quite another to pedal, push and haul your own body weight in bike and luggage, along corrugated, sandy tracks, in wind you can hardly stand up in and hot, unforgiving sun!" as Liz says, they are not professional adventurers or athletes, they are who they are, normal people who are taking an extraordinary journey!
