Bramwell International Teams Shine in South Lakes Cycle Challenge.

The South Lakes Cycle Challenge, organised by South Lakes District Council, runs every year in an attempt to persuade people to leave their cars behind and ‘get on your bike!’.

This year, Bramwell International entered two teams of four and we have to say, we were pretty pleased with our results! A top ten result in the ‘Small Organisation’ category was also bolstered by Adele Barrow coming in as third woman overall and Heather Palmer, sixth woman overall, out of a total field of 325 entrants.

Heather managed to rack up 403 miles with Adele hammering out a very respectable 607 miles!

7 out of the 8 team members finished in the top half of the table with only Nick Bramwell dropping into the bottom half with a paltry 54 miles over 8 journeys. The two BI teams will be drawing straws to decide whose team Nick is on next year ..….
